Das Problem ist, daß unter Tru64 editor_command über /bin/sh
aufgerufen wird. Und das kann per default erst einmal ~ nicht
evaluieren. Ich könnte BIN_SH auf xpg4 oder svr4 setzen, aber
er ignoriert das wohlwollend.
Kurzum: ich kann auf Linux als editor_command "~/.autosig" angeben,
unter Tru64 möchte er den kompletten Pfad. Das wäre zwar kein Problem,
weil die Pfade ohnehin auf beiden Systemen identisch sind, aber das
wäre ja wieder nur ein würgaround.
